Made for the room.

A kitchen, an alcove or a whole wall of storage. Design, making and fitting stay in one conversation.

Kitchens

Cabinetry designed from the room outward. Layout, storage, appliance housings and the details you touch are resolved together before anything is made.

  • Painted or timber cabinetry
  • Larders and internal storage
  • Islands and appliance housings
  • Coordinated worktops

Fitted joinery

Cupboards, bookcases and wardrobes shaped to the walls you have. We work with alcoves, awkward corners and rooms that need to do more.

  • Alcove cupboards and libraries
  • Wardrobes and dressing storage
  • Window seats and hall storage
  • Room-specific cabinet details

Pantries & utilities

Useful furniture for the less photographed parts of the house. Provisions, laundry and everyday equipment deserve a considered place, too.

  • Tall larders
  • Laundry housings
  • Utility cupboards
  • Working surfaces and shelves

Materials, with a purpose.

Painted furniture

A painted finish lets the cabinetry sit quietly in the room, or give it a stronger character. We look at sample panels in the light they will live in before the finish is agreed.

Looking after it

Use a soft cloth and a mild cleaner. Keep standing water away from edges and joints. Small marks can be assessed for touching in.

Natural oak

Grain and colour vary from board to board. Solid timber and veneer each have a place: veneer can give a broad panel stability while preserving the character of the wood.

Looking after it

Wipe spills promptly and use the care method supplied for the chosen finish. Natural timber changes with light and use.

Inside the cabinet

The drawer, hinge, shelf and cupboard depth matter as much as the door. Interiors use the timber, veneer or engineered board suited to the construction and agreed specification.

Looking after it

Do not overload drawers or shelves. Hinges and runners can be adjusted as the furniture settles into use.

Worktops

Stone and other specialist surfaces are specified alongside the cabinetry, then templated and fabricated separately. Their cost and programme are set out in the quotation.

Looking after it

Follow the fabricator's advice for the specific surface. Heat, staining and cleaning guidance varies by material.

Your room

Begin with the space, the things it needs to hold and what is changing around it. Rough dimensions, a postcode and an outline of timing and budget are enough for the first conversation.

If the project suits our workshop, we agree the survey and design commission before developing detailed layouts.

Design & materials

Ruth works through layouts, elevations and samples with you. Owen checks the construction and the details that will matter in the workshop.

Final site dimensions, appliance models, service positions, materials and drawings are agreed before manufacture.

Our workshop

Cabinets are made and checked in our workshop near Keynsham. The agreed programme includes material ordering, preparation, assembly and finishing.

A manufacturing slot is confirmed with the written order. It depends on the room being ready for the fitting programme.

Fitted at home

We deliver and dry-fit the furniture, then coordinate the remaining cabinetry details around specialist worktops and the client's trades.

A snag list, care information and a return adjustment visit bring the furniture into everyday use.

An idea of the commitment.

Budget

Kitchen cabinetry commissions are generally £24,000–£48,000 including VAT, design, delivery and dry fitting. Worktops, appliances, building work and service connections are additional. Smaller fitted commissions begin at around £4,500 including VAT, depending on scale and detail.

Timing

For a kitchen, get in touch around four to six months before your preferred fitting date. Design, the workshop slot, the building programme and specialist worktops all affect the overall timing. A date is confirmed in the agreed programme, not by completing an enquiry.

Survey & design

An initial conversation helps establish fit and scope. A kitchen survey and design commission is £650, agreed in writing and credited to a subsequent furniture order. Smaller joinery design work is scoped individually.

Scope & other trades

Our work covers the furniture and its dry fitting. Structural work, plumbing, electrical or gas connections, plastering, flooring and general decorating belong to your builder and qualified specialists.

Before we begin.

When should we get in touch?

For a kitchen, ideally four to six months before the fitting date you have in mind. Earlier is useful if the room is being altered. We can discuss a shorter programme, but an enquiry does not reserve a manufacturing slot.

Do we need finished plans?

No. A sketch, approximate dimensions and a few photographs are useful at the start. Detailed dimensions and the final appliance and service information are agreed before making.

Can you work with our architect or builder?

Yes. We can share agreed cabinet drawings and setting-out information. Your architect, builder and specialist trades retain their own parts of the project; those responsibilities are made clear in the scope.

Do you provide the worktops and appliances?

Worktops can be specified and coordinated with the cabinetry, but are fabricated separately and costed separately. Appliances are normally selected and bought by the homeowner. Any alternative procurement arrangement is written into the quotation.

Can we visit the workshop?

Visits are by arrangement, after the first project conversation. It is a working workshop with a sample table, so please arrange a time rather than arriving without an appointment.

What happens after the fitting?

We agree the snag list, provide care information and arrange a follow-up adjustment visit around six weeks later. Worktop and appliance care follows the guidance for those products.
